My Geckos wont eat there food?

I just got 2 leopard Gecko's from my friend cause she doesn't have room for all the pets she has right now so she let me have them, they are about a year old she said but for some reason they wont eat at all! its been a day and i have had them for about 3 hours they haven't even looked at there food am i scared they are not gonna eat oh and right now they are being meal worms, can tell me any tips to make sure they eat i have put the food closer to them but it still wont help they have some kind of bond though witch is good they stare each other straight in the eyes almost like they are gonna kiss does this mean anything sorry if i don't make any scence right now
