Is a bearded dragon a good pet for me?

I am 17, and I want to get a reptile. The problem is, that I do not want one that requires the tank to be filled with water (i want to handle him all the time). I was thinking about a chameleon, but they are very habitual, and lazy in comparison to the bearded dragons. I have a summer home in the kawarthas, and I can bring him up, but he will have a seperate terrarium for up there, and back here. I have time for him, and from what I have read, they like to be handles, so I will be good with time and activities. I want to know, should I get a bearded dragon, and 2 terrariums, or what else is there that is interactive, not too lazy, and not a snake. I am getting a big terrarium, with all lights, inserts, and decorations for 200.00, the beardie from my buddy breader for 30.00, and another tank will be in the books by this summer. Please, any reasoning will be greatly appreciated.
