Why is sexual orientation such an issue?

Why has it turned into some sort of gay witch hunt lol? Im really blown away by the judgmental society we live in, and the lack of common sense some people have. I see people quoting the bible as if they went to church a day in their life. As a christian I am aware about what the bible says about homosexuality, but God gave a us a brain..People say being gay is a choice. (think about it) Why would people choose to have relations with a sex they are physically or emotionally attracted to? And who are we to tell other what they can and cant do with their lives. WE ARE NOT GOD PEOPLE. God wants us to love one another no matter the circumstances! Haha I dunno this just got me frustrated today after reading comments on the internet. Im definitely raising my children to be judgement free because this is crazy.
